Mitras’ Queries:

Mitra are not under any kind of pressure and it is entirely your discretion to decide what task, you would like to do.

Making an offer shows your interest and commitment to complete the task; if assigned. Get 100% task clarity before making an offer, so as to collaborate pleasantly with the task poster.

You should pick tasks which match your skills set and are feasible.

Whether your super power is fixing things, Baking, Photography or Housekeeping, love what you do and earn it up with TaskMitra.

To Make an Offer follow these steps:

  1. Click on the “Browse” button on the homepage and select a category relevant to the task you would like to do.
  2. Select the Task which interests you.
  3. Click on the “Make an Offer” button on the Task wall and offer a price for the Task.
  4. Tell the Task poster why you are the right person for doing the Task.

Yay you’re done!

Task Posters mention a price which they think is reasonable for the task in the description. This gives you a fair idea of the kind of budget the task poster is looking at.

Set a fair price for the task.

You may also benchmark the market rate and set a reasonable price for the task.

Estimate the time you will take to do the task and set a price accordingly.

For privacy reasons, we keep your quotes hidden from competitors (other Mitra who make an offer).

Only the Task Poster, to whom you make an offer, can see you offer price.

You can edit and delete the offer only until you are assigned for the task.

To edit or delete the offer:

  1. Select the task in which the offer needs to be edited.
  2. You can then click on the “Edit Offer” button on the Task wall to edit the price.
  3. Or click on the “Delete Offer” button on the task wall, to delete the offer you made.

You receive a SMS with the Task Poster’s Name and contact details for you to get in touch with the Task Poster.

You will also receive a TaskMitra notification and an email on your registered email ID with the Task Poster’s name, offer price and the task title.

All the tasks posted on the site are visible to public by default. Hence, to protect your privacy, we prevent you from sharing your contact information while chatting on the Task wall.

However if you are Assigned as a Mitra:

  1. You receive a SMS with the Task Poster’s Name and contact details for you to get in touch with the Task Poster.
  2. A private messenger also gets enabled on the website where you can exchange other task related nitigrites privately with the Task Poster.

Before assignment you can communicate with the Task Poster by chatting on the Task wall.

Once you are Assigned as a Mitra:

  1. You receive a SMS with the Task Poster’s Name and contact details for you to get in touch with the Mitra.
  2. A private messenger also gets enabled on the website where you can exchange other task related nitigrites privately with the Mitra.

Firstly, check if you have created an earnest profile and fill in all the details completely. This will help you to imbibe confidence to the TaskMitra community.

Check if you have set a reasonable and fair price for the task you have made an offer.

We’re high on safety and security, but it’s always better to be cautious and safe. We request you to follow some safety tips:

  1. Disclosing your personal information like, Contact details etc. while chatting on the task wall is against the TaskMitra rules and TaskMitra.com has the complete authority to block your account for doing so.
  2. Get 100% clarity right from the beginning, so as to collaborate pleasantly with the Task Poster.
  3. One you’re assigned for the task, it is advisable for you to exchange task related nitigrites on the private messenger–if at all anything needs to be sorted in the interest of trust and safety, it’s all there in writing.
  4. If a task is either different or a lot more than what was described, we request you to put this point across to the Task Poster, before commencing the task. Try settling the issue on mutual grounds.
  5. If at all you think that you are not interested to take up the task or cannot complete the task, get yourself unassigned, by calling Taskmitra support on +91 8080808275, drop a mail at support@taskmitra.com for the same.
  6. Remember to be traceable and stay contactable on your mobile.
  7. Always keep someone posted when you’re doing a task.
  8. If at any time you feel in danger and need assistance please seek help or call 100.
  9. If you ever feel uncomfortable with another user at any stage in the task process, kindly let us know.

Overdue tasks are those which have passed the deadline date, which was given by the Task Poster.

A task may also be overdue if both the parties do not Mark the task complete.

Ideally your goal should be to complete the task until due. But if the task turns overdue both the parties can mutually decide to get the task done on a later date.

If at all you cannot do the task anymore, get yourself unassigned, by calling Taskmitra support on +91 8080808275 or drop a mail at support@taskmitra.com for the same.

If the task is not similar to what was described, then we request you to put this point across to the Task Poster, before commencing the task.

Try settling on the issue on mutual grounds.

If at all you think, that you are not interested to take up the task or cannot complete the task, get yourself unassigned, by calling Taskmitra support on +91 8080808275 or drop a mail at support@taskmitra.com for the same.

If you cannot complete the task, kindly inform the Task Poster as soon as you know that you will have to unassign yourself from the task.
