Task Posters’ Queries:

Posting a task is easy and can be done under a minute.

Click on the “Post A Task” button on the homepage and select a category relevant to the task.

Next, Fill in in the details:

Task Details:Mention the task title and description. You can also attach a file or photo of the task.

Task Location: Point the task location on the map and mention the timeline for getting the task done.

Task Payment: Mention the price for getting the task done and the mode of payment. Hit the “Post A Task” button and get ready to receive offers. Easy!

Set a fair budget for the task.

Don’t worry too much, as the Mitras also get an opportunity of making an offer by quoting a higher or a lower price for the same.

You can edit or delete the task only until a Mitra makes you an offer.

To edit or delete the task:

  1. Click on “My task” and select the task which needs to be edited.
  2. You can then click on the “Edit” button on the task wall to edit the task details.
  3. Or click on the “Delete” button on the task wall to delete the task.

You will receive a TaskMitra notification and an email on your registered email ID with the Mitra’s name and offer price.

To assign a Mitra by follow these steps:

  1. Click on “My task” and select the task which needs to be assigned.
  2. Click on the “Offers” button on the task wall and you will see a list of offers received along with the prices.
  3. Once you find the right Mitra and an offer which fits within your budget hit the “Assign” button for that Mitra.

Yay you’re done!

All the tasks posted on the site are visible to public by default. Hence, to protect your privacy, we prevent you from sharing your contact information in the Task description or chat section on the website.

However once a Mitra is assigned:

  1. You receive a SMS with the Mitra’s Name and contact details for you to get in touch with the Mitra
  2. A private messenger also gets enabled on the website where you can exchange other task related nitigrites privately with the Mitra.

Selecting a Mitra is totally based on the task poster’s discretion. However, we recommend that you take into consideration the following:

  • Your budget for getting the task done.
  • Mitra’s profile
  • Ratings and Previous Reviews.

Before task assignment, you can communicate with the Mitra by chatting on the Task wall.

Once a Mitra is assigned:

  1. You receive a SMS with the Mitra’s Name and contact details for you to get in touch with the Mitra.
  2. A private messenger also gets enabled on the website, where you can exchange other task related nitigrites privately with the Mitra.

You’re likely to receive more offers, if more people view your task.

Firstly, check if you have created an earnest profile and fill in all the details completely. This will help you to imbibe confidence to the TaskMitra community.

Review your task once again and check whether you’ve described your task precisely in detail.

Lastly check if you have set a reasonable and fair price for the task.

We’re high on safety and security, but it’s always better to be cautious and safe. We request you to follow some safety tips:

  1. Disclosing your personal information, like Contact Details etc. on the task description or while chatting on the Task wall, is against the TaskMitra rules and TaskMitra.com has the complete authority to block your account for doing so.
  2. Try to describe the task precisely in detail. This will help the Mitra understand what exactly is expected out of them for the task.
  3. You must try to know the Mitra better and not refrain from asking questions about their work experience and why you should choose them.
  4. One you’ve assigned a Mitra for the task, it is advisable for you to exchange task related nitigrites on the private messenger–if at all anything needs to be sorted in the interest of trust and safety, it’s all there in writing.
  5. Ask them to flash their ID on arrival before commencing the task.
  6. Don’t pay the Mitra for your task, until it has been completed to your satisfaction. If you are ever in a situation where you are not satisfied with the task, try to first sort it out with the Mitra and get it done.

  8. Remember to be traceable and stay contactable on your mobile.
  9. Always keep someone posted when you’re getting a task done.
  10. If at any time you feel in danger and need assistance please seek help or call 100.
  11. If you ever feel uncomfortable with another user at any stage in the task process, kindly let us know.

Overdue tasks are those which have passed the deadline date, which was given by the Task Poster.

A task may also be overdue if both the parties do not Mark the task complete.

Ideally the goal should be to complete the task until due. But if the task turns to be overdue the parties can mutually decide to get the task done on a later date.

We request you to try your best to co-ordinate with the Mitra. If no alternative solution can be found, call TaskMitra Support on +91 8080808275 or drop a mail at support@taskmitra.com to do the following:

  1. Get the Mitra unassign from the task. Assign another Mitra for the task from the various Mitra that made you an offer.
  2. Get the task deleted and post a fresh task.

Don’t pay the Mitra for your task, until it has been completed to your satisfaction.

If you are ever in a situation where you are not satisfied with the task, try to first sort it out with the Mitra and get it done.
